If you’re logged out of your account and you can’t remember your password:

You can request a new password by clicking the Forgot your password? link on the Facebook log in page. We’ll send you an email with a link to reset your password.

If you’re logged in to your account:

1. Click the account menu  at the top right of any Facebook page.
2. In the dropdown menu that appears, select Account Settings.
3. Scroll down to Password, click the change link, and follow the instructions.

Password Tips:

• Use a different password than you use for other sites or services.
• Make sure your password is long and strong: use a combination of numbers, letters, and punctuation marks at least six characters in length.
• Do not use words found in the dictionary.
