Mumbai, Designer Manish Malhotra, who is to craft a new uniform for the Mumbai Police, is excited about the project but will not disclose any details, saying the project is in its early stages.

New Delhi, Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan will not be seen together in Yash Raj Films (YRF) next project, a spokesperson from the production house said Saturday.

“Despite our categorical denial of this baseless rumour, the tabloid continued to publish this with an ambiguous quote from a person at YRF. It is totally baseless and not true,” said an official statement from YRF.

“The least that should have been done was to have quoted us correctly and preferably not have carried this concocted story at all,” it added.

A woman village-head in Uttar Pradesh Saturday sought a local court’s intervention to get a criminal case registered against Amitabh Bachchan in Barabanki district, where the megastar has bought land to build a women’s college.

Complainant Raj Kumari is the ‘gram pradhan’ (village head) of Daulatpur village, where the mega star had acquired five bighas of land to build a college in the name of his star daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.

In an application moved before the court of chief judicial magistrate, Barabanki, Raj Kumari has accused Bachchan of “playing fraud” on the people of the village by not keeping his word of building a women’s college.

New Delhi, After the super success of “3 Idiots” last year, Sharman Joshi says he is still waiting for a script that he would love to work on. The boyish-looking actor also hopes that filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra would approach him for his next “Ferrari Ki Sawari”.

“Post-’3 Idiots’ I haven’t signed on anything,” said Sharman. “I am reading scripts and I’m yet to sign and seal a deal for any particular film. I’m not finding the one that I would love to work on,” Sharman told IANS in a telephonic interview from Mumbai.
